Well-wishers Greet OSM! Magazine as She Turns 4

We take pride in knowing that the OSM! is one of the few outstanding online magazines that has grown to become a strong link between the regional community and our homeland the Philippines in relaying political, social, and cultural news. It has also evolved with the interests of many of our kababayans in the Tri-state region, many of whom now rely on social media for information.

Consul-General Mario Lopez de Leon Jr.

New York City — OSM! online magazine is four years old today! We thank our readers all over the globe for the continuously reading us. You remain our source of inspiration in this era of social media. We also thank the awesome men and women who share their life stories to us, trusting us in writing their narratives of challenges and breakthroughs.

It has truly been a vibrant and colorful four years. And onward to greater heights and awesomeness.

Many thanks to the men and women who greeted us today.

“Greetings from the land of the Chocolate Hills, Bohol, Philippines! Extending my best wishes and deepest gratitude to OSM Magazine and its amazingly awesome founder and publisher, Ms. Marivir Montebon. I’m honored to have been chosen to be on the maiden issue four years ago. In the era of the internet and its vast virtual world of competitive media, your publication’s mission and vision uniquely shines out of the ordinary. Choosing to feauture the everyday lives of ordinary people who go beyond their comfor zones to do extraordinary things for the sake of making this world a better place to live. As your number one subscriber from day one, I am amazed by the milestones you have achieved in such a period of time reaching to more than a million subscribers! Indeed, you have helped a lot in empowering these special people to continue their advocacies. God bless you more OSM!

“I congratulate the OSM! magazine on the celebration of its 4th year anniversary. This occasion makes a significant milestone in the continuation of your online publication’s mission in being a valuable source for news and inspiration to the Fil-American community of the New York Tri-state, the young and not so young.

I therefore salute the OSM! for its good work of raising the profile of Philippine identity and culture and at the same time, inspiring our kababayans in America and back home through its stories of success and struggle which everyday Fil-Americans experience. Mabuhay and OSM!
