Well-loved Lady’s Choice Sandwich Spread Jiggles Mom’s Holiday Dishes

New York City – The yearend holiday is the time of the year when we feel nostalgic, missing on the delectable taste of those traditional dishes that we have been accustomed to enjoy back in the Philippines in parties and family get-togethers.

Being away from home may not be so bad anymore when Lady’s Choice brings back the flavors of these well-loved dishes and elevates them to jiggle your taste buds in this holiday season. By partnering with Chef Ron Bilaro, Lady’s Choice presents one of the most iconic Filipino holiday dishes for the Fil-Am families, Fiesta Macaroni Salad.

“We are thrilled with the opportunity to participate in such an important festival with a vibrant community and hope all who celebrate Christmas feel at home with delicious Fiesta Macaroni Salad from Lady’s Choice.” said Brent Malone, brand manager of Unilever International North America.

The team at MIKADO Marketing, the agency that partners with Unilever on the Lady’s Choice Holiday Campaign from concept to execution, is equally happy to be part of the Christmas celebration with the Fil-Am communities.  “Lady’s Choice has been serving the families in the Philippines for decades,” said Jeannie Yip, Director of Marketing at MIKADO, the cultural marketing agency for Unilever. “We are very excited about the product being available in the U.S. and partnering with Chef Ron Bilaro to celebrate such an important festival with the communities.”

Chef Ron Bilaro, who runs the food segment ‘Eat and Ron’ at TFC USA, said that the Lady’s Choice Sandwich Spread is not limited to making sandwiches. “The usage of Lady’s Choice spread is unlimited,” said the Chef.  “The Fiesta Macaroni Salad is the signature dish specially designed with the Lady’s Choice Sandwich Spread.  It tastes much creamier and more delicious with the spread.  The hint of pickle relish definitely gives the dish a kick!”

Besides the macaroni salad, the spread can be used to perk up main dishes for the holidays as well including the Chef’s trendy white lechon paksiw.

Furthermore, Lady’s Choice and its parent company, Unilever, have been actively reaching out to the Filipino American communities for holiday celebrations.  The brand has provided tremendous support to local organizations in Los Angeles and New York/New Jersey that celebrate the traditional Christmas dawn masses (Simbang Gabi).  It also participates in the community events such as the Seafood City Grand Bingo and Holiday in Chicago.

The Lady’s Choice branded mini parols (lanterns) made of Capiz shell are also given out during the community celebrations as a reminder of the tradition of holiday lights.
