This lovely Greek island is where the first of the series of the movie Bourne Identity was shot. Mykonos, nicknamed the Island of the Winds, is famous for its windmills and the little Venice. White and blue are the dominant colors of the place, just like all of Greece.
It’s nice to see some Greek columns beside the public beaches in Chora. It feels like I was walking back to the past with the great architecture.
Every stroll I did in Mykonos lent me the feeling of the ‘glory that was Greece.’ It certainly felt glorious eating Greek salad and Gyros, as well as watching the waves in the shore as I sip my expresso.

I can still feel ‘the glory that was Greece’ in every stroll in Chora, and in every sip of expresso.
Mykonos is part of the Cyclades, lying between Tinos, Syros, Paros and Naxos. The town is also known as Chora or The Town, following the common practice in Greece when the name of the island itself is the same as the name of the principal town.
Tourism is a major industry in Mykonos. It is called the “Ibiza of Greece” for its summer clubs attract lots of tourists every year.
