Chief Designer Chona Bacaoco and MM Milano Talent Pluto Ernsberger worked together to present glamorous & futuristic fashion made from natural and innovative fibers.
New York – MM Milano, the Milan-based high-end fashion brand and talent agency, presented new sustainable collections at New York Fashion Week 2021. The brand’s own talents from all over
the US rocked the runway of The Society Fashion Week at the fascinating venue of Angel Orensanz Foundation.
A dream came true for MM Milano Talent Pluto Ernsberger from Ohio, USA, who worked abreast MM Milano’s Founder and Chief Designer Chona Bacaoco to create and launch a new futuristic clothing line, called PLUTO, reflecting Pluto’s unique story, and using innovative sustainable materials.
MM Milano’s fashion is known for glamorous and individual gowns, suits and dresses made from natural fibers and innovative fabrics, combining Chief Designer Chona Bacaoco’s cultural Filipino heritage with modern Italian designs.
MM Milano’s vision “Bringing together Global Talents and Sustainable Fashion” was made visible with a breath-taking show at New York Fashion Week, and was accompanied by the Brand’s own runway music composed by Andreas Volkmar, showing the viewers a story and raising awareness around environmental and social issues in fashion and beyond.
Its own MM Milano Talent Agency gives the brand a great opportunity to provide their Global Talents with rare and extraordinary experiences to learn from great personalities like Chief Designer Chona Bacaoco, to perform on international stages, or meet and work with Celebrity-Designer Michael Cinco from Dubai who entered in a first-of-its-kind partnership with MM Milano for his very first Kids and Teens Collection.
In New York, several MM Milano Talents made the crowd cheer non-stop, among them the talent of determination Olivia De Piore, as well as the rising talents Zoé Martinez, and Melanie Whiteman, for whom this day offered a very special experience as Melanie showcased together with her 83-year old grandfather Frank Lam, who proofed that the runway isn’t reserved for young talents only.
Further, the wonderful and solid talents Paige Seale, Natalia Spanhel, and the incredible siblings Aislinn, Donavan and Sinead Ennis were also part of this exciting event.
Stay tuned for the brand’s next event at Paris Fashion Week on 2nd October 2021, where the MM Milano will be performing together with none other than Celebrity-Designer Michael Cinco.
