On Facebook: If a Story Could Launch a Thousand Likes

How ecstatic could a publisher/writer get?

Editor’s Notes

By Marivir R. Montebon

New York – Drum roll for the ten OSM! articles which instantaneously gathered more than a thousand likes upon posting on Facebook. I am the most excited, of course. We have consumed more than half of the year 2017, and I was looking back at the postings of OSM! on its Facebook page. I was bench-marking on at least 500 likes, and we have lots. But quite evident are the articles with more than a thousand likes. How ecstatic could a publisher/writer get?

Now, to the tune of the old song “If”, I sing ‘if a story could launch a thousand likes, then how can I not be inspired?’ Our first article with more than 2000 likes was on the news story on ‘fake news’, a kapihan series by the Fil-Am Press Club of New York, with guests Jessica Robinson and Ninotchka Rosca. In April, it was surpassed by an article on Jane Hernando winning 2nd in the Toastmaster’s International in Florida.

Thank you very much, dear readers. You always set me on fire. Two of the top 1000+ likes stories of www.justcliqit.com are on serious social issues: concern on fake news and bullying. The other top 8 stories are on art, culture, and education. Here are our stories with over a thousand likes, and growing:
