Cebu City — In my two month vacation in my home place, I was able to convince my manager to visit Cebu on his Asia trip. His first time in the Philippines, I was his official driver and tour guide.
During our strolling in Tops, which is in Busay, we met two couples from Sweden. I was shocked when they said that there was nothing else in Cebu but malls. They planned to go to Bohol the next day. These couples had no tour guides.
I told them that there are many places to explore in Cebu which are not expensive.
I suggested that they go south, and not stay in the city or Mactan island. I first recommended the town of Oslob to watch the whale shark, the butanding. Then they can rent a motor boat to reach Sumilon island, then they can go to Tumalog Falls.
After the six of us talked, the Swedish couples left after they watched the sunset at Tops. My manager smiled and told me that his wanted to go the places I recommended.
Ok, I said, you should sleep early. No night life for him tonight because we will travel early to Oslob to see the butanding.
Thus begun our adventure. There are many places to see in Cebu that are beautiful, without being pricey, like the sunset in SRP (South Reclamation Project) and in Tops and the beaches in Oslob and Moalboal.
