New York City – The Kadayawan Weave: Haute Culture made waves in Victoria and Toronto in Canada on August 19, 2017 even before it tantalized Filipinos in the Big Apple. The Colors of the Orient extravaganza in Victoria, BC featured the Kadayawan Weave at the Fairmont Empress Hotel was a big hit.
The high fashion event was produced by RQ Productions International and directed by Limuel Vilel. It showcased the designs of Davao-based Christopher Ledesma, Silveno Anglacer Jr., Ronnie Nacua, Stephanie Dacalos, Kenny Ladaga, and Richie delos Santos.

OSM! spotlights catwalk neophyte Gaea Katrina Allysa Espinoza, a License Practical Nursing student and part-timer for a big cosmetic company.
“I had so much fun and met new friends. Who knows, after nursing, this could be my second career,” the 23-year-old Cebuana laughed.
