New York City – This Sunday promises to be a lovely and mesmerizing evening with Philippine balladeer Basil Valdez at the Sheraton La Guardia East Hotel in Flushing. He will serenade his audience with well-loved songs Ngayon at Kailan Man, You, and Lift Up Your Hands.
But first there will be Broadway singer Jerome Gentolia on stage, a real treat indeed.
Jerome started his singing career at the age of 12 and on his early teen days was a regular guest of Tony Award Winner, Lea Salonga, on her show “Love Lea”. A Filipino-American who is already treading the right track to grasping what he truly aspire to earn his own spot and ultimately carve a name in the annals of legitimate theatre and Broadway stage.
Gifted with immensely massive vocal power, Jerome has done several Broadway shows which included “Sneaking up on you”, “Laughing with the dead”, “Today and Everyday”, “Revolution,” and “Electric Gypsy and a number of undersized productions.
The former lead vocalist of “Starrider”, a “Foreigner” tribute band, Jerome is mighty proud for having the opportunity to share stage with Joan Osborne, Chris Robinson of Black Crowes, Emylou Harris, Steve Miller Band, Bruce Hornsby and The John Butler Trio.
Earlier this year he toured with bluesman, Martin Sexton on his 2016 “Open Road Tour” for a total of 12 dates.
Jerome will co-perform with NewYork-based singers Angel Ram, Jarred Martin, and a host of others in the Basil Valdez concert which is produced by GMA Life TV, Pinoy TV, and News TV.
