New York – Appreciation for the art made its way to start 2019 with the opening of the Hand to Hand Art Exhibit presented by the Foundation For Filipino Artists, Inc.
It features the artwork of Manuel Rodriguez Sr., art luminary and father of Philippine printmaking, and his artist son, the late Manuel Rodriguez Jr.
Also featured are the works of Marcelino Rodriguez, also a son of the quintessential Rodriguez, Julianne Rodriguez, Rodriguez’s grand daughter, and local artists Ann Constantino Beck, Ana Paula De Freitas Nascimento, Aida Bartolome, Elvie Jayco, Potri Ranka Manis, and Amira Aziza.
The art exhibit opened on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the FFA center on 7702 Broadway in Queens (entrance on 77th Street, exhibit is in the basement). It will be up until the end of January. For inquiries, call: 646 415 1853
Ann Beck, president of International Women Artists, features her first 3 Tribunalis artwork and said she’s honored and proud to be one of the exhibitors together with the Rodriguez family.
Proceeds of her Tribunalis Beta and Tribunalis Charlie will be donated to two cancer fighters “for their strength and bravery.”
“I am truly honored and proud to be one of the exhibitors together with the Rodriguez Family,” she adds.
