Women’s Talk Show ‘Women’s World’ Launches on May 24 on Zoom, Sharing Innovations in the Time of Pandemic

By Marivir R. Montebon

New York – The Women’s Federation for World Peace and the OSM! Online Magazine launch its joint project ‘Women’s World’, a zoom and coffee time for women worldwide to participate this Memorial weekend. Co-hosted and produced by Merly Barlaan, Dr. Arceli Hernando, and Marivir Montebon, the online show brings up conversations that enhance women’s productivity and innovative ways of coping with the new norm brought about by the global coronavirus pandemic.

Ms. Merly Barlaan is the WFWP International Vice President for Asia and CEO of the Center for Wisdom and Character Excellence, a Philippine non-profit organization on sustainable development and youth and women’s empowerment. A jet setter before the lockdown, Barlaan is currently based in New Jersey. Dr. Arceli Hernando is the director of Student Affairs and Services of Bohol Island State University. New York-based Marivir Montebon is a journalist and publisher of OSM! Online Magazine.

“During this challenging time as we adjust to the new norms caused by the pandemic, we bring up conversations on the challenges and the evolving roles of working women at home and in our communities as care givers, educators, and mothers,” said Barlaan, who graced the main feature of the maiden issue of OSM! Online Magazine in 2012.

On May 24, Sunday 8PM EST, May 25, Monday 8AM Philippine Time, MAM (Merly, Arceli, and Marivir) will talk about HOW LOCKDOWN MOMS COPE WITH THE KIDS 24/7 AT HOME with special guest, a psychologist/counselor, Ms. Maria Dina Golosino, RGC from Bohol Island State University.
