WICCAFE: US rises to be a great nation, colonizer; women’s movement continues

American Immigration Story Part 5 (of 6)

The birth of the USA was through war against the British and the natives. It is ran by the labor of black slaves and consequently post-modern immigrants. The Founding Fathers designed the ‘American experiment’, that is to separate the Church and the State to avoid the bloody religious persecution in Britain – and to mainly focus on economic development. In the twilight of Spanish colonialism, America rose as the newest superpower, after WW I and II. Upheaval upon upheaval, women continued to contribute to America’s unfolding on civil rights and gender equality. Click on the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-ewaxLiLTE&t=10s

This is a presentation of the Women’s Immigration and Communications Cafe, a nonprofit organization organized by Marivir R. Montebon in completion of her MA in Religious Studies in 2019 at the Unification Theological Seminary in Manhattan.
