New York City — Holistic health advocate Shanna M. Wallace puts everything down today to campaign for her husband seeking public office as councilman in the city of Mt. Vernon under the Democratic party. Today, September 10, is the primary elections for the city and state-wide electoral race.
“My best friend Andre Wallace is running for City Council of Mount Vernon and I am inviting you to learn more about his perspective, intentions, approach, and more importantly, his Being. Even though Andre is also my husband, he had to earn my vote and he has earned it. I stand by him with all my heart and if his vision resonates with yours, please support him too.
Andre is a good person, an outstanding businessman, and a great leader. He needs Mount Vernon residents’ partnership to lift up and evolve our city, the way the body needs each organ to do its part for all systems to run well and regenerate, replenish, grow, and thrive. He is a dedicated teacher and has been teaching his students “how to fish so they can eat for a lifetime.” That is the kind of leadership he wants to establish… one that is empowered and empowering, sustainable, one that inspires others to recognize their self-worth and become Leaders too, one that will nourish our Land on many levels, and live on for decades to come as a Legacy beyond his time in office.”
In his platform of government, Wallace envisions at elevating Mount Vernon by creating a development authority, fortifying the work force of the city, and strengthening ties with teachers and parents. (Visit http://www.andrewallace.com/)
