The International Film Festival Manhattan (IFFM) is bringing a multi-awarded and critically acclaimed scriptwriter to NYC for a once in a lifetime writing workshop.
Ricky Lee will share writing tips, techniques and his experiences with chosen participants to be part of the roster of writers that he will usher to the wonderful world of writing and film on October 17 – 19, 2016 in the Big Apple.
In keeping with tradition, the NYC Committee for the Ricky Lee workshops will provide scholarships to deserving individuals just like the Writers Studio Foundation does.
To make this possible, we need to raise funds, thus we are reaching out to good organizations to help us fulfill the project that will be greatly beneficial to all participants and promote Philippine arts and culture.
We are making an appeal on two levels: First is for financial support for the project that he has so bravely put before us in the hope that our good intentions will be rewarded via the scholarships. Here is our Indiegogo Campaign

The Workshop Schedule:
Day 1 October 17, 7pm: Film screening with introduction and question and answer with Mr Ricky Lee
Day 2 October 18 ,Producers Club; 5-10pm Day 3 October 19 ,Producers Club
Output for the 3-day workshop is a storyline per participant.
