NFALA Foundation Launches $5K Raymond L. Ocampo Family Scholarship for Law Students

New York – The NFALA Foundation, the charitable arm of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association (NFALA), is proud to announce the establishment of the Raymond L. Ocampo Jr. Family Scholarship.  A grant in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded to a law student who demonstrates exceptional aptitude for the study of law and a strong commitment to serve or contribute to the Filipino American community as a future leader of the legal profession.

Applications for the scholarship are available at nfala.com/nfala-foundation and should be submitted no later than 5 p.m. (PDT) on May 31, 2020. This year’s scholarship recipient will be announced during NFALA’s annual Mid-Year Conference, which will be held virtually on June 12, 2020.  For general inquiries about the NFALA Foundation, including opportunities to help expand its scholarship offerings, please email scholarships@nfalafoundation.org. In addition to creating further scholarships in the future, the NFALA Foundation is also in the process of developing a law student relief program related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
