New York City – OSM! writer and Granny Gorgeous blogger Sylvia Hubilla recently released her first published book on poems.
“Snippets” a small book of random verses, is a collection of poems about life and anything and everything that weaves through it in the course of the journey.
Writing from Austin, Texas, which she now calls home, Hubilla, at 70, calls her book, in essence, a memoir, in verse.
“How does one compress 70 years in a few words? Sylvia Hubilla writes from a woman’s heart. This collection of poems shows one woman’s journey of a life well-lived….” says Olivia Tripon of the Women’s Feature Service, Philippines.
‘Snippets’ is a book you open on a rainy night to let its warmth give you a hug,” says Stella Monteno of Cebu City.
Theda Fresques of the Austin Examiner in Austin, Texas says ‘Snippets’ is a sampling of the poet’s masterful craft in words and imagery. It is touching and honest in its poignancy. Keep the tissue handy.” For book cover designer Tessa Faelnar, Snippets is the heart’s thoughts put into words, it is as moving as wind on sail.”
Available online this fall, this is how Snippets would take you to lovely imagery through poetry.
