New York – A good friend Jane Hernando in Florida called me on Saturday morning seeking to pursue a fundraiser for her beloved birthplace Iligan City in Mindanao. She is offering to sell her vintage Hermès (with authentication certificate) for $6500 in order to purchase a hemoperfusion machine (ventilator) for Iligan City Public Hospital.
Word from friends has it that no single covid19 patient has ever survived in the hospital for lack of equipment.
Jane, a physical therapist, is currently recuperating from covid19. While in isolation at home, she has decided to sell her expensive signature purses which are being kept in her closet.
