Editor’s Note: Photojournalist Arlene Chua treats us to the beautiful old city of Barcelona in Spain which she recently visited. The featured photo is the magnificent Sagrada Family church.

While it is famous for the Sagrada Family (holy family) church designed by Antoni Gaudi , it has many modernist landmarks that can overwhelm any photographer like me. This cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region also has the modern art in Museu Picasso de Barcelona and Fundació Joan Miró, a fully white Mediterranean building on the mountain of Montjuic.
