Aprille Aquino, Augee Francisco head JCI-Phil New York

56th Induction of the Officers and Presentation of Members – JCI Philippine-New York Chapter.

NEW YORK – The Junior Chambers International (JCI) Philippine-New York Chapter inducted its new set of officers on February 2, 2019, at the Astoria World Manor, New York. It was a successful event with about 80 guests in attendance.

The program started with the singing of the US and Philippine National Anthems and followed by the opening prayer rendered by Pastor Willy de Jesus.

Newly elected Executive Vice President Augee Francisco opened the program with her welcome remarks, and the acknowledgement of VIP guests, as well as established organizations present in the event.

The traditional presidential turn-over to 2019 President Aprille Aquino was conducted by JCI New York Immediate Past President/NYS Senator Stevenson Van Derodar, for the Chain Presentation, and NYSJC Gov. Elaine Schroeder, for the Gavel.

Aquino thanked Gov. Elaine Schoeder for making her induction as president “truly special and meaningful.”

Thereafter, as President, Aquino officially inducted the following officers for 2019.

There were six Youth Members who attended the event, alongside their respective proud parents. As a welcome gift to the youth, they were given the JCI pins.
